Ambassador Tomašević with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Romania

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Bucharest, Stefan Tomašević, met with the Minister of the Interior of Romania, Lucian Bode, and the team of State Secretaries and Assistant Ministers also attended the conversation.

On that occasion, historically good bilateral relations were highlighted, and the interlocutors pointed out the readiness to further improve cooperation in areas of interest of the two countries.

Ambassador Tomašević thanked Romania for its continuous and principled support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia, as well as for its support on the path to EU integration.

Tomašević also referred to Romania's support during the pandemic, during the evacuation of Serbian citizens from distant destinations, and informed his interlocutor about the results of Serbia, when it comes to immunizing the population.

Minister Bode offered Romania's support at the expert and technical level in areas that Serbia considers useful, regarding the acceleration of the EU integration process of the Republic of Serbia.
