Ambassador Bradić with the Federal Minister of Justice and Police of Switzerland
The interlocutors assessed the police cooperation as good, as well as the cooperation in the field of justice, where cooperation is conducted on the basis of numerous bilateral agreements.
Minister Keller-Sutter emphasized the importance of cooperation in the field of migration management, the fight against organized crime and the fight against terrorism.
According to her, Switzerland is also satisfied with the results achieved in the suppression of smuggling of narcotics, property crimes, as well as in the suppression of other types of criminal activities.
Ambassador Bradić thanked for the technical and financial support that Switzerland has provided to our country through several projects within the Serbia-Switzerland Migration Dialogue, which have been implemented since 2016.
The ambassador also talked with the minister about the possibilities of simplifying the trip for the citizens of Serbia to Switzerland.
The Republic of Serbia is no longer on the list of countries at risk due to the pandemic, but tourist trips to this country are still not possible for our citizens.
The Federal Minister pointed out that Switzerland will, as before, adjust its regulations to the provisions of the Schengen Agreement, and that meetings of interior ministers and other EU ministers are expected in the coming weeks to deal with the issue of the travel regime.
