Political relations

Serbia's relations with the Union of the Comoros need to be boosted in all segments. The Comoros were among the countries that withdrew the recognition of the unilateral declaration of independence in respect of Kosovo in 2018, which is another gesture of friendship that characterises mutual relations.

Visits of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the two countries were exchanged in 2018.

 

Economic relations

According to data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, trade in goods with the Union of the Comoros was absent in 2025.

 

Bilateral agreements

Cooperation Agreement in the Field of Educational and Culture between the Federal Executive Council of the SFRY Assembly and the Government of the Islamic Federal Republic of the Comoros.

Date of signature: 24 March 1984.

Date of entry into force: 17 June 1985.
