Political relations
Relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Palau are good and have the potential for improvement in various areas.
Visit of the President of Palau, then Thomas Esang Remengesau Jr. to the Republic of Serbia was realized on 19-21 January 2019.
The Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Serbia, Vanja Udovičić visited the Republic of Palau in the period from 29 September to 4 October 2019 as a special envoy of the President of the Republic of Serbia on the occasion of celebrations celebrating the 25th anniversary of the country’s independence.
On the sidelines of the 53rd Pacific Islands Forum Leaders' Summit in Tonga in August 2024, a bilateral meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Đurić, and the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Palau, Gustavo Aitaro, was held.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, met with the President of the Republic of Palau, Surengel Whipps Jr, in Tokyo in September 2022.
The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dačić, met with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Palau, Gustavo Aitaro, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in 2023.
Economic relations
There is potential for the development of economic cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Palau.

Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Youth and Sports between the Ministry Youth and Sports of the Republic of Serbia and Ministry of Community and Culture of the Republic of Palau, signed on 21 January 2019.
