Political relations

Political cooperation between Serbia and Lithuania is at a good level. Lithuania supports the process of European integration of Serbia.

Former President of Lithuania D. Gribauskaite visited Belgrade on 18 May 2018 and had a meeting with the President of Serbia A. Vučić.

 

Economic relations

In 2022. trade amounted to 88 million euros (exports 50,8 million euros, and imports 37,5 million euros). In 2021. foreign trade amounted to 81 million euros (our exports 53 million euros, and imports 28 million euros).

 

Bilateral agreements

There are 7 bilateral agreements in force, some of which are:

Protocol on cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the FR of Yugoslavia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania. Effective Date: 15 October 2001;

Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Serbia and Montenegro and the Government of the Republic of Lithuania on mutual encouragement and protection of investments. Effective date: 2 December 2005;

Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Lithuania and the Government of the Republic of Serbia on Cooperation in Combating Crime. Effective date: 15 May 2019.
