Due to the outbreak of hostilities in the Gulf region, we recommend that our citizens do not travel to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) until the ongoing conflict has ended.
Citizens of the Republic of Serbia who live and work in the KSA are advised to avoid proximity to military facilities, to remain calm, to follow the instructions and guidelines of the competent authorities in Saudi Arabia, to apply precautionary and protective measures, and to cooperate with their employers on these matters.
Bearing in mind that airports in the KSA are not fully closed at this time, we recommend that those who must travel stay in contact with their airlines and airports due to possible immediate changes in the status of air traffic.
In the event of any changes in the security situation, the Embassy will promptly inform Serbian citizens.
The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in the KSA remains at the disposal of all Serbian citizens for additional information and consular assistance via the telephone number +966 555 282 559, as well as through WhatsApp and Viber applications on that number
VISA REGIME
For holders of diplomatic and official passports: Visa is required
For holders of national passports and other travel documents: Visa is required
Note: Visa is required for holders of an emergency travel document in transit
ENTERING AND LEAVING THE COUNTRY
The passport validity period for tourist travel purposes must be at least six months, which also applies to the regulation of stay.
Visa-free passenger transit depends on individual airline agreements with the Saudi Civil Aviation Authority. In the case of low-cost companies, transit without a Saudi visa is usually not allowed (e.g. connecting in Saudi Arabia from a Wizz Air flight to a flight of another airline to the final destination without a visa is not allowed, passengers are detained at the airport). If the same airline carries a passenger, transit is allowed up to 12 hours.
SOCIAL SECURITY AGREEMENT
