HEALTH SITUATION – Current information on the health situation in this country may be found on the World Health Organization website: https://www.who.int/countries/vct/.
Medical facilities are not of a high standard. Visitors should be aware of the following diseases posing a health threat: Zika virus disease, Dengue fever and Chikungunya fever.
SECURITY SITUATION – As tourists are often victims of petty crime, they should avoid moving alone, especially in poorly lit city areas, beaches and the like. Occasionally, serious crimes are committed.
TRANSPORT – Roads are generally in very bad condition. Public transport is performed by mini-buses and taxis. Animals often wander onto roads. Travellers can enter the country by ship or plane.
To operate a vehicle, Serbian citizens are required to obtain a local temporary driving licence which is issued on request on the basis of the Serbian (national) driving licence. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is a left-driving country.
OTHER INFORMATION – The currency used is the East Caribbean dollar (EC$).
