Political Relations
Political relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of the Philippines have traditionally been good and friendly.
The then Presidents of the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of the Philippines, Tomislav Nikolić and Benigno Aquino III, met in New York on the sidelines of the 69th session of the United Nations General Assembly in September 2014.
On 24 July 2026, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Marko Đurić visited the Republic of the Philippines to participate in the Commemorative Ministerial Meeting marking the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC). During the visit, he met with the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines, Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro.

In September 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Marko Đurić met with the then Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines, Enrique A. Manalo, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
In September 2023, Ivica Dačić, then First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, met with the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines, Enrique A. Manalo, on the sidelines of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
In September 2023, Ivica Dačić, then First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, also met with Enrique A. Manalo on the sidelines of the 43rd ASEAN Summit in Jakarta.
Economic Relations
According to data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, total merchandise trade with the Republic of the Philippines amounted to EUR 36.9 million in 2025, comprising Serbian exports worth EUR 1.8 million and imports worth EUR 35.1 million.
The Philippine company Integrated Micro-Electronics, Inc. (IMI), part of the Ayala Group, opened a factory in Niška Banja on 29 September 2018 to manufacture precision electronics for the automotive industry. The facility, built on an area of 14,000 square metres, is expected to employ approximately 1,250 people by 2027, including 500 engineers. The opening ceremony was attended by President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić and IMI President and Chief Executive Officer Gilles Bernard.
