Selaković: President Vučić reached a historic agreement on the price of gas

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, reached a historic agreement on the price of gas with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, which once again confirmed the mutual understanding and friendship between our two countries.

It turned out that the credible and consistent policy of Serbia, based on respect for international law, combined with the extraordinary personal relations of President Vučić with world leaders, is a recipe for long-term development and prosperity of our country.

Serbia is grateful to friendly and brotherly Russia for taking care of Serbian national interests and readiness to help in a situation when the whole world is facing an energy crisis.

Energy stability and reliable supply of natural gas is a condition for further progress of the Serbian economy, and Serbia will know to appreciate the helpfulness and understanding of the Russian Federation and President Putin, but also to confirm support for our multi-vector foreign policy.

Such agreements and support provided to Serbia and its citizens show the importance of personal relationship that President Vučić has with President Putin, but also with other leaders of the most important countries in the world, and that, thanks to that, exceptional things are achieved for the state and the people.
