Minister Đurić confers with EEAS Deputy Managing Director for Western Europe, Emanuele Giaufret

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Đurić, met today with the Deputy Managing Director for Western Europe at the European External Action Service (EEAS), Emanuele Giaufret, to discuss Serbia–European Union relations, the dynamics of the accession process, regional cooperation, and current international developments.

The interlocutors underscored the importance of sustained and substantive political dialogue between Serbia and the European Union, as well as the continued enhancement of comprehensive cooperation in the context of ongoing reform efforts within the accession process, and the strengthening of stability and connectivity in the Western Balkans region.

Minister Đurić emphasized that membership in the European Union remains a strategic commitment of the Republic of Serbia, reaffirming Serbia’s full dedication to the continuation of comprehensive reforms and to further intensifying cooperation with EU institutions and the Member States. The meeting was also attended by the Head of the European Union Delegation to Serbia, Ambassador Andreas von Beckerath.
