Đurić confers with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Landau

During his visit to the United States, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Marko Đurić met in Washington with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau.

Expressing his appreciation for the opportunity to hold this meeting, Minister Đurić conveyed his satisfaction that he and Deputy Secretary Landau share the same enthusiasm regarding the relationship between Serbia and the United States.

Minister Đurić underlined that Serbia attaches particular importance to the development of its strategic partnership and overall relations with the United States, which remains one of our country’s key foreign policy partners. He emphasized that direct engagement with senior U.S. officials is essential for maintaining a regular and substantive exchange of views.

The interlocutors also discussed the preservation of Serbia’s energy security and issues related to the operations of the Petroleum Industry of Serbia. They reviewed all aspects of the current situation in which Serbia’s energy sector finds itself.
