Jovanović confers with the Ambassador of Venezuela

On this occasion, the interlocutors expressed their satisfaction with the bilateral relations between the two countries, which are traditionally friendly and without open issues. In this context, they referred to last night’s telephone conversation between Presidents Vučić and Maduro as the best indication of the dynamic contacts between the two states.

The meeting was dedicated to discussions on further strengthening cooperation in a number of areas with significant potential, including the economy, agriculture, science, and culture, to which both sides remain consistently committed.

State Secretary Jovanović conveyed her gratitude for Venezuela’s principled support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia, as well as for its understanding and substantial backing in international fora on matters of national interest to our country.

She also expressed particular satisfaction regarding Venezuela’s upcoming participation in the international exhibition EXPO 2027 in Belgrade, which opens new opportunities for further enhancing cooperation between the two nations.
