ENTRY REGIME FOR CITIZENS OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Citizens of the Republic of Serbia may enter Guyana under condition that they present a negative PCR test not older than 72 hours.
All adult passengers must present proof of receiving at least one dose of following vaccines: Astra Zeneca – ChAdOx 1, Sputnik V-Gam Covid Vac (1&2), Sinopharm – Vero Cell BIBP, Sinovac – Corona Vac, Phizer – BioNTech Covid 19 – BNT 162b2, Moderna – mRNA – 1273 vaccine, Johnson & Johnson – Janssen Ad26CoV2.S vaccine.
In addition, at least 24 hours prior to arrival to Guayana, travelers must fill in Passenger Locator Form which may be found on the following link https://guyanatravel.gy/

HEALTH SITUATION – Current information on the health situation in this country can be found on the website of the World Health Organization https://www.who.int/countries/guy/.
The standard for medical institutions and medical care is very low. Emergency assistance is mainly inaccessible and not equipped to provide the necessary care. There are several health risks: Zika virus, dengue fever, chikungunya fever.
SECURITY SITUATION – High-risk area, tourists are often the victims of crime.
TRANSPORT – Public transport is based on minibuses and taxi transport. Minibuses often participate in deadly accidents, while taxi users are warned of frequent robberies. The country can be entered by boat, airplane or dry land.
Serbian citizens need to obtain a local, temporary driver’s licence along with their Serbian licence. It is issued on request, based on a foreign driver’s licence. Driving is on the left side of the road.
