Political relations:

Traditionally friendly but with insufficiently developed political dialogue. Then Minister of Foreign Affairs V. Jeremic was on an official visit to Nepal in October 2011. He had a bilateral meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Nepal N.K. Shrestha on the margins of the multilateral meeting in Sharm el-Sheikh in May 2012. In April 2013, at the margins of the meeting of the Community of Democracies in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, MFA I. Mrkic met with Foreign Secretary in the MFA of Nepal D. P. Bhattarai. FDPM and MFA I. Dacic met with MFA of Nepal P. S. Mahat on the margins of the 71st session of the UNGA, in September 2016. 


Economic relations:

In 2016, the value of trade amounted to EUR 127,000 (R. Serbia exported to Nepal EUR 83,000 worth of goods and imported from Nepal EUR 44,000 worth of goods).

In 2015, the value of trade amounted to EUR 70,000 (R. Serbia exported to Nepal EUR 33,000 worth of goods and imported from Nepal EUR 37,000 worth of goods).
