Political relations:


  • At the margins of the 72th Session of UNGA in New York in September 2017 FDPM and MFA I. Dacic met with MFA of Bhutan D. Dorji. The two MFAs also met during the NAM summit held in Venezuela, 13-18 September 2016.
  • Political Director of the MFA Ambassador Zoran Vujic, in his capacity as Personal Envoy of the President of R. Serbia A. Vucic, visited Bhutan from 8 – 10 November 2017.
  • During the 134th Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly in Lusaka, March 2017, parliamentary delegations of Serbia and Bhutan met for the first time.
  • At the NAM Summit held in Belgrade in September 2011, the Bhutanese delegation was headed by the Personal Envoy of the Prime Minister of Bhutan.

So far, no officials from Bhutan have visited Serbia.

Economic relations:

In the first 10 months of 2017 no exports from R. Serbia to Bhutan were recorded, while imports from Bhutan amounted to EUR 39 thousand.

No bilateral economic cooperation was registered in 2016, including in several previous years.
